3.10.18- Putting it into Practice
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Bree again. I did my year nine work experience with Synergy Percussion and she was, and is, a lovely person. This week we got the opportunity to practice once again our AV skills and put them to the test by creating a full recording of Bree's composition Light for the First Time. I have included a short excerpt of the piece here for you to enjoy. While you listen, try to imagine her unborn daughter who this was written for and imagine what it might be like to experience light through the womb for the first time as one's vision develops. We also interviewed her on her compositional practice afterwards, the video of which is also below.
